All figures are made exclusively for MEDALLION MINIATURES in limited edition productions. Only the finest painters are used on these models, and the same painters work on a particular model insuring every figure of that issue to be of the same top quality. The molds are owned by MEDALLION MINIATURES and will be destroyed when an edition is completed. Figures are numbered with accompanying certificates.

Louis XIV's great parade through the streets of Paris in 1662. Known as THE GRAND CAROUSEL, it featured 5 companies (quadrilles) of nobility ornately dressed as Romans, Persians, Turks, the Indies, and Savages of the Americas. Figures are taken from period plates showing the participants in their costumes.
